- Phillips screwdriver

- 7/32-inch socket
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal battery cable. Wait at least 15 minutes for the supplemental restraint system (SRS) to disarm.
2. Remove the right-hand instrument panel lower access cover under the glove box to access the blend door actuator.
3. Locate the actuator near the center of the housing behind the center stack and to the left of the blower fan motor.
4. Press down on the retainer clips on the electrical connector and separate it from the actuator.
5. Remove the single mounting screw.
6. Remove the blend door actuator. If it is stuck gently tap the actuator with a small hammer until it can be removed.
7. Remove the actuator rod from the blend door arm by pushing down on the locking tab and pulling the rod outward.
8. Install the new actuator. Repeat the previous step in reverse to install the new actuator and reconnect the electrical connector.
9. Start the engine to check operation of the blend doors and turn on and off the A/C to fully extend the temperature actuators.
