1997 MPV Recently my fuel gauge lost bottom half It reads normally to just below full then plummets zero seems rather odd does it have 2 senders Anyone know of a fix Thanks?

There is only one fuel level sending unit in the fuel tank of your 1997 MPV. The fuel gauge gets it's information from the fuel level sending unit. If the gauge is reading accurately up to just below full, then it is likely the sending unit is the issue. However, it could also be an issue with the wiring that connects the sending unit to the gauge cluster.

One way to check if the sending unit is the problem is to disconnect it from the electrical connector. If the gauge then reads full, then the sending unit is likely the issue. If the gauge still reads below full, then the problem is likely in the wiring or in the gauge cluster itself.

If the sending unit is the problem, it will need to be replaced. This is a relatively easy repair, but it will require dropping the fuel tank. If you are not comfortable doing this, you will need to take the vehicle to a mechanic.
