2. Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir. Use a turkey baster or a syringe to suck out the fluid.
3. Disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder. There are two brake lines that connect to the master cylinder: the front brake line and the rear brake line. Use a flare nut wrench to loosen the flare nuts that hold the brake lines in place.
4. Remove the master cylinder from the vehicle. There are four bolts that hold the master cylinder in place: two bolts on the front and two bolts on the back. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts and then remove the master cylinder.
5. Install the new master cylinder. Reverse the order of the steps you took to remove the old master cylinder. Be sure to tighten the bolts that hold the master cylinder in place securely.
6. Fill the master cylinder reservoir with brake fluid. Use the type of brake fluid that is recommended for your vehicle.
7. Bleed the brakes. This will remove any air from the brake lines and ensure that the brakes are working properly.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Your Mazda MX6 is now ready to drive.
