Location:
The radiator drain plug on a 2001 Blazer is located on the bottom-right side of the radiator, when facing the vehicle from the front.
How to drain the radiator:
Park your Blazer on a level surface and turn off the engine.
Allow the engine to cool down completely.
Open the hood of your Blazer.
Locate the radiator drain plug and place a drain pan underneath to catch the coolant.
Using a 3/8th inch wrench, loosen and remove the radiator drain plug.
Allow the coolant to drain out completely.
Close the radiator drain plug and replace the drain pan.
Reattach the radiator cap and fill the radiator with a mixture of 50/50 antifreeze and water.
