2. Place an oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.
3. Loosen the oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain completely.
4. Replace the oil drain plug.
5. Locate the oil filter on the side of the engine block.
6. Remove the oil filter using an oil filter wrench.
7. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
8. Screw on the new oil filter until it is snug.
9. Add new oil to the engine through the oil fill cap.
10. Check the oil level using the dipstick.
