Materials:
- Flat-head screwdriver.
- Replacement cigarette lighter fuse.
Instructions:
1. Turn off the ignition and allow the car to cool down.
2. Locate the fuse box. In the 2002 Honda Accord, there are two fuse boxes:
- Under the driver's side dash.
- In the engine compartment. The fuse box in the engine compartment is located on the passenger side.
3. Open the fuse box cover. The location of the cigarette lighter fuse may be indicated on the fuse box cover or in your car's owner manual.
4. Locate the cigarette lighter fuse. The fuse is usually marked "CIG" or "PWR OUTLET."
5. Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry out the old cigarette lighter fuse from its socket.
6. Insert the replacement cigarette lighter fuse into the socket. Make sure the fuse is seated correctly and is pushed in firmly.
7. Close the fuse box cover and turn the ignition back on.
8. Test the cigarette lighter to make sure it is working properly.
