1. Locate the tire jack and lug wrench. The tire jack is located in the spare tire well. The lug wrench is located in the glove box.
2. Loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire. Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire, but do not remove them completely.
3. Position the tire jack under the vehicle. Place the tire jack under the vehicle, near the flat tire. Make sure that the jack is stable and will not slip.
4. Raise the vehicle with the tire jack. Use the tire jack to raise the vehicle until the flat tire is off the ground.
5. Remove the lug nuts and take off the flat tire. Use the lug wrench to remove the lug nuts and take off the flat tire.
6. Place the spare tire on the vehicle. Place the spare tire on the lug nuts and hand-tighten the lug nuts.
7. Lower the vehicle with the tire jack. Use the tire jack to lower the vehicle until the spare tire is on the ground.
8. Tighten the lug nuts. Use the lug wrench to tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern. Tighten the lug nuts until they are snug.
