1. Open the hood of your car.
2. Locate the fuse box. It is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
3. Remove the fuse box cover.
4. Locate the alternator fuse. It is a 10 amp fuse and will usually be located in the "main" fuse block.
5. Remove the old fuse by gently pulling it out with a pair of needle-nose pliers.
6. Insert the new fuse into the fuse slot.
7. Replace the fuse box cover.
8. Close the hood of your car.
That's it! The new fuse should protect your alternator from any electrical problems.
