* 1. From the inside of the car. The fuel door release button is located on the left side of the driver's footwell, near the parking brake pedal. Press the button and the fuel door will pop open.
* 2. From the outside of the car. There is a small, black button located on the edge of the fuel door. Press the button and the fuel door will pop open.
If the fuel door does not open when you press the button, it may be frozen shut. Try spraying some WD-40 or another lubricant around the edges of the fuel door and then try pressing the button again. If the fuel door still does not open, you may need to take your car to a mechanic.
