1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Raise the vehicle using jack stands or ramps.
3. Unscrew the two Phillips head screws holding the shift gate bracket in place.
4. Remove the shift gate bracket and the old shifter sheet.
5. Place the new shifter sheet over the shifter mechanism and align it with the holes in the shift gate bracket.
6. Replace the shift gate bracket and reinstall the two Phillips head screws.
7. Lower the vehicle off of the jack stands or ramps.
8. Test the shifter to ensure that it moves smoothly through all of the gears.
