1. Locate the fuse box.
The fuse box is located in the engine compartment, at the right side between the battery and the firewall.
2. Open the fuse box.
To open the fuse box, push the tab next to the box lid and lift the cover.
3. Find the blown fuse.
The blown fuse will have a visible broken filament.
4. Remove the blown fuse.
Use a fuse remover tool or a needle-nose pliers to pull the blown fuse from its socket.
5. Insert the new fuse.
Push the new fuse into the socket until it is fully seated and clicks into place.
6. Close the fuse box.
Put the fuse box cover back on and press it down until it clicks shut.
7. Test the electrical component.
Turn on the electrical component that was not working to check if the new fuse has solved the problem.
