1. Park your vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your vehicle.
3. Locate the negative battery terminal, which is marked with a "-" symbol.
4. Disconnect the negative battery terminal by loosening the nut or bolt that holds it in place.
5. Wait for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect the negative battery terminal.
6. Close the hood of your vehicle and start the engine.
7. The engine light should be reset.
