Instructions
1. Put on your safety glasses.
2. Raise the vehicle with the jack stands so there is enough space underneath to work on it.
3. Locate the catalytic converter under the vehicle. It is usually located between the engine and the exhaust system.
4. Once the catalytic converter is located, use a wire brush and scraper to remove any dirt, debris, or rust that may have built up on the surface.
5. Use the socket wrench set to remove the bolts and nuts that hold the catalytic converter in place.
6. Use the oxygen sensor wrench to remove the oxygen sensor from the catalytic converter.
7. Remove the old catalytic converter from the vehicle.
8. Install the new catalytic converter by reversing the steps that you took to remove the old catalytic converter.
9. Start the vehicle and let it run for a few minutes. Listen for any unusual noises or leaks.
10. If you don't hear any leaks, turn the engine off and let the car cool down. Once it has cooled down, check for leaks under the vehicle.
11. Lower the vehicle from jack stands.
