How do you change a heater core in 1987 Toyota supra turbo?

1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical damage while you are working on the heater core.

2. Drain the coolant from the system. You can do this by opening the petcock at the bottom of the radiator.

3. Jack up the front of the car and remove the wheels. This will give you access to the engine compartment.

4. Remove the engine air intake assembly. This will give you access to the heater hoses.

5. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core. Be careful not to spill any coolant.

6. Remove the heater core bracket bolts. There are two bolts on each side of the heater core.

7. Remove the heater core from the car. Be careful not to damage the heater core.

8. Reverse the steps to install the new heater core.

Here are some additional tips:

* You may need to remove the alternator to access the heater core.

* If you are replacing the heater core, you should also replace the thermostat.

* When you are filling the coolant system, be sure to use the correct type of coolant.

* Start the car and let it warm up for a few minutes. Check for any leaks. If you see any leaks, turn off the car and fix the leak before driving.
