1. Locate the engine oil pan beneath the vehicle. It is usually a metal pan that is located at the bottom of the engine.
2. Look for a drain plug on the oil pan. It is typically a 17mm bolt.
3. Place an oil drain pan beneath the drain plug to catch the oil.
4. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the drain plug.
5. Allow the oil to drain completely from the oil pan.
6. Replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.
7. Add new engine oil to the engine through the oil filler cap. The oil filler cap is usually located on top of the engine.
8. Check the oil level and add more oil if necessary.
9. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new oil.
