1. Brake light switch: This switch is located above the brake pedal and activates the brake lights when you press on the brake pedal. If the switch is faulty or not properly adjusted, the brake lights won't work.
2. Fuse: The brake lights are protected by a fuse in the fuse box. If this fuse has blown, it will need to be replaced.
3. Wiring: There could be a problem with the wiring that connects the brake light switch to the brake lights. This could be a short, a loose connection, or a broken wire.
4. Brake light bulbs: The brake light bulbs could be burned out or incorrectly installed. Check to make sure that the bulbs are properly seated in their sockets.
5. Tail Light Assembly: The tail light assembly that holds the brake lights may be damaged or have a bad connection. If this is the case, the entire tail light assembly will need to be replaced.
