- Replacement brake light bulb (check your owner's manual for the correct size)
- Socket wrench or screwdriver
- Pliers
2. Turn off the truck engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Open the truck's tailgate and locate the brake light assembly.
4. Remove the screws holding the brake light assembly in place.
5. Carefully detach the brake light assembly from the truck.
- Be mindful of any wires that may be connected.
6. Remove the old brake light bulb from the assembly.
7. Install the new brake light bulb into the assembly.
- Press the bulb into the socket until it locks into place.
8. Reattach the brake light assembly to the truck.
9. Replace the screws that were removed earlier to secure the assembly in place.
10. Test the brake lights to ensure they are working properly.
