How do you gauge a frac tank?

To gauge a frac tank:

1. Ensure the frac tank is level. If the tank is not level, the measurement will be inaccurate.

2. Locate the gauge stick. The gauge stick is a long, thin stick that is marked with graduations indicating the volume of liquid in the tank.

3. Insert the gauge stick into the tank. The gauge stick should be inserted until the bottom of the stick is resting on the bottom of the tank.

4. Read the gauge stick. The volume of liquid in the tank will be indicated by the graduation mark on the gauge stick that is even with the surface of the liquid.

For example: If the surface of the liquid is even with the graduation mark that says "1000 gallons," then there are 1000 gallons of liquid in the tank.
