Where is the governor on a 17hp Briggs and stratton lownmower engine?

There could be two locations for this part on the engine.

The first, and more common location is on the left lower side of the engine. It is usually behind the pull cord shield and is connected to a lever that goes up to the carburetor.

It could also be located on the top right of the engine. This is behind the air cleaner assembly.
