- Replacement power steering belt
- Socket wrench
- Ratchet
Instructions:
1.) Jack up the front of the car and place jack stands under the frame.
2.) Remove the upper and lower radiator hose from the cooling system.
3.) Drain the power steering fluid by removing the drain plug on the bottom of the power steering pump.
4.) Remove the bracket for alternator.
5.) Loosen the power steering pump mounting bolts.
6.) Detach the belt from the power steering pump and remove it.
7.) Place the new belt around the power steering pump pulley.
8.) Reattach the belt on alternator.
9.) Reinstall the power steering pump mounting bolts and tighten them.
10.) Fill the power steering system with new fluid and bleed the air from the system.
11.) Lower the car and remove the jack stands.
