* New transmission oil (SAE 50 or as recommended by the manufacturer)
* Funnel
* Oil drain pan
* Wrench
* Rags
Step 2: Prepare the transmission.
* Park the vehicle on level ground.
* Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
* Engage the parking brake.
* Raise the vehicle with a jack or lift.
* Place the oil drain pan underneath the transmission.
* Remove the transmission oil drain plug.
* Allow the transmission oil to drain completely.
Step 3: Add new transmission oil.
* Insert the funnel into the transmission oil fill hole.
* Add new transmission oil until it reaches the "FULL" mark on the dipstick.
* Replace the transmission oil fill plug.
Step 4: Lower the vehicle.
* Carefully lower the vehicle with the jack or lift.
Step 5: Check the transmission oil level.
* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
* Check the transmission oil level with the dipstick.
* Make sure the oil level is between the "ADD" and "FULL" marks on the dipstick.
