1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the accelerator pedal for five seconds.
3. While still holding the accelerator pedal, turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
4. Continue holding the accelerator pedal for another five seconds.
5. Release the accelerator pedal and start the engine.
If the engine service light does not reset, you may need to have your vehicle diagnosed by a qualified mechanic.
