This diagram shows the location of the brake lines, as well as the various components that they connect to. The brake lines are responsible for carrying brake fluid from the master cylinder to the brake calipers and wheel cylinders. When the brake pedal is depressed, the master cylinder pressurizes the brake fluid, which is then sent through the brake lines to the calipers and wheel cylinders. This pressure causes the calipers and wheel cylinders to engage the brake pads or shoes with the rotors or drums, which slows down or stops the vehicle.
