2. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it with jack stands. Make sure the vehicle is stable before you begin working.
3. Locate the power steering pump. It is typically mounted on the front of the engine, near the top.
4. Disconnect the power steering hoses. There are two hoses connected to the power steering pump, one on the pressure side and one on the return side. Use a wrench to loosen the hose clamps and then pull the hoses off of the pump.
5. Remove the bolts that hold the power steering pump in place. There are typically four bolts that hold the pump in place. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts and then remove them.
6. Lift the power steering pump out of the vehicle. Be careful not to spill any power steering fluid.
7. Install the new power steering pump. Reverse the steps above to install the new power steering pump.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Start the engine and check for leaks.
