1. Turn the key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the accelerator pedal for five seconds.
3. While still holding the accelerator pedal, turn the key to the "ON" position again and release the accelerator pedal.
4. The engine light will flash rapidly and then go out.
If the engine light does not go out, you may need to have a professional scan tool connected to your vehicle to clear the engine code.
