The oil filter on a 2008 Tundra 5.7 4WD is located on the front of the engine, near the bottom. It is a cylindrical-shaped object with a black cap. The oil filter is about the size of a soda can.
To remove the oil filter, you will need a wrench or a socket.
1. Turn the wrench or socket clockwise to loosen the oil filter cap.
2. Remove the oil filter cap from the filter.
3. Remove the old oil filter element from the filter cap.
4. Install a new oil filter element into the filter cap.
