- Fuel line wrench
- Screwdriver
- Filter wrench

- New fuel filter
Step 2: Remove the fuel line
- Use the fuel line wrench or tool to loosen the fuel line fittings that connect to the fuel filter.
- Be careful not to spill any fuel.
Step 3: Remove the old filter
- Use the filter wrench to loosen and remove the old filter.
- Be prepared for the small amount of fuel that will come out of the fuel line and from the filter housing. Collect it with the rag.
Step 4: Install the new filter
- Apply a thin coat of new engine oil to the gasket of the fuel filter, if not pre-oiled by manufacturer.
- Install the new fuel filter in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten the fuel line fitting securely but do not overtighten.
Step 5: Start the engine and check for leaks
- Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
- Check the fuel filter and the fuel line connections for leaks.
- If you see any leaks, tighten the fittings or the fuel filter.
