2. Disconnect the battery.

3. Locate the oil pressure sending unit.
* The oil pressure sending unit is located on the side of the engine block, near the top. It is usually a small, round object with a single wire connector attached to it.
4. Disconnect the wire connector from the oil pressure sending unit.
* Use your fingers or a small wrench to disconnect the wire connector from the oil pressure sending unit.
5. Unscrew the oil pressure sending unit.
* Use a wrench to loosen and remove the oil pressure sending unit from the engine block. Be careful not to drop the oil pressure sending unit into the engine.
6. Apply sealant to the new oil pressure sending unit.
* Apply a small amount of sealant to the threads of the new oil pressure sending unit. This will help to create a seal and prevent leaks.
7. Screw the new oil pressure sending unit into the engine block.
* Hand-tighten the new oil pressure sending unit into the engine block. Then, use a wrench to tighten the oil pressure sending unit until it is snug.
8. Reconnect the wire connector to the oil pressure sending unit.
* Use your fingers or a small wrench to reconnect the wire connector to the oil pressure sending unit.
9. Reconnect the battery.
