No oil in car light did not come on engine though?

The oil pressure light is designed to warn you when the oil pressure in your car's engine is low. If the light comes on, it's important to stop driving and check your oil level immediately. If the oil level is low, add oil and check for any leaks. If there are no leaks, you should have your car inspected by a mechanic to determine the cause of the low oil pressure and engine failure.

Here are some reasons why the oil light may come on, even if the oil level is full:

* Oil pump failure: The oil pump is responsible for circulating oil throughout the engine. If the oil pump fails, the engine will not receive the oil it needs to function properly.

* Oil filter blockage: The oil filter is designed to remove contaminants from the oil. If the oil filter is blocked, the oil cannot circulate properly and the engine will not receive the oil it needs.

* Oil leak: An oil leak can cause the oil level to drop, which can trigger the oil light.

* Engine damage: Engine damage can cause the oil pressure to drop, which can trigger the oil light.
