Tools and Materials:
* Replacement fuel filter (Check owner's manual or parts catalog for correct filter)
* Fuel filter wrench
* Socket wrench with 13mm socket
* Small pliers
* Wrench or adjustable wrench
* Rags
* Safety glasses
Instructions:
1. Park your Mercedes in a safe location, and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Locate the fuel filter: It is located under the vehicle, near the fuel tank.
4. Place a rag under the fuel filter to catch any spills.
5. Use the fuel filter wrench to loosen the fuel filter cap.
6. Remove the old fuel filter from the housing.
7. Inspect the old filter for dirt or damage.
8. Apply a thin coat of oil to the gasket of the new fuel filter.
9. Install the new fuel filter in the housing.
10. Tighten the fuel filter cap using the fuel filter wrench.
11. Remove the rags from under the fuel filter.
12. Start the engine and check for leaks.
