Can you use gas that has 2 cycle engine oil in a 4 engine?
It is not recommended to use gasoline that has been mixed with 2-cycle engine oil in a 4-cycle engine. Two-cycle engines require oil to be mixed into the gasoline because they do not have an oil pump to circulate oil through the engine. Four-cycle engines, on the other hand, have a separate oil reservoir and do not require oil to be added when fueling. Using 2-cycle oil in a 4-cycle engine can cause damage to the engine, including excessive wear on the pistons and piston rings.
