1. Make sure the ATV is parked on level ground and the engine is cool to the touch.
2. Open the hood of the ATV.
3. Locate the coolant reservoir. It is typically a clear plastic bottle with a black cap located near the front of the ATV.
4. Check the level of the coolant in the reservoir. It should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the reservoir.
5. If the coolant level is low, add a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and water to the reservoir until the level reaches the "Full" mark.
6. Close the coolant reservoir cap and close the hood of the ATV.
7. Start the ATV and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the coolant through the engine and ensure that the level is correct.
8. Check the coolant level again after the ATV has been running for a few minutes. It should still be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the reservoir.
