Where do you add transmission fluid to a 1996 ford thunderbird?

1. Locate the transmission fluid dipstick. On a 1996 Ford Thunderbird, the dipstick is located on the driver's side of the engine, near the back. It is a long, thin metal rod with a yellow handle.

2. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a rag.

3. Reinsert the dipstick into the transmission fluid tube.

4. Pull the dipstick out again and check the fluid level. The fluid should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.

5. If the fluid level is low, add transmission fluid through the dipstick tube. Use a funnel to avoid spilling fluid.

6. Reinsert the dipstick and check the fluid level again.

7. Continue adding fluid until the level is between the "full" and "add" marks.
