Where is the crankshaft sensor on a 1998 Mitsubishi diamante?

The crankshaft position sensor is usually located on the engine block, near the timing belt or chain. In the case of the 1998 Mitsubishi Diamante, the crankshaft position sensor is located on the front of the engine, just below the intake manifold. It is a black cylindrical sensor with a single wire connector.
