* Flat-head screwdriver
* Phillips-head screwdriver
* 5/8-inch socket
* Wrench
* New camshaft position sensor
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Locate the camshaft position sensor on the front of the engine. It is located near the top of the engine, on the passenger side.
3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the electrical connector from the camshaft position sensor.
4. Use a 5/8-inch socket to remove the two bolts that hold the camshaft position sensor in place.
5. Remove the old camshaft position sensor from the engine.
6. Install the new camshaft position sensor into the engine.
7. Replace the two bolts that hold the camshaft position sensor in place. Tighten the bolts until they are snug.
8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the camshaft position sensor.
9. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
Tips:
* Be careful not to drop the bolts when you are removing them.
* Make sure that the new camshaft position sensor is installed correctly.
* Double-check that all of the electrical connections are secure.
