To start a diesel engine that has run out of diesel, you will need to prime the fuel system. This means filling the fuel lines and injector pump with diesel fuel so that the engine can start.
To prime the fuel system, you will need to:
1. Locate the fuel filter.
2. Loosen the bleed screw on the fuel filter.
3. Pump the fuel primer until diesel fuel comes out of the bleed screw.
4. Tighten the bleed screw.
5. Start the engine.

Once the engine is running, you will need to let it run for a few minutes to allow the fuel system to bleed any remaining air.
