You will need:
- A clean rag
- A flashlight
Instructions:
1. Move your machine to level ground.
2. Wait at least 15 minutes for the machine to cool, ensuring that the hydraulic fluid is at its “full cold” level.
3. Lift the engine covers and locate the hydraulic sight glass (dipstick), on the right hand side by the engine oil dipstick.
4. Clean the sight glass with the rag to allow for inspection.
5. Start the engine and let it idle.
6. Check the fluid level. The fluid level should be between the “ADD” and “FULL” marks on the sight glass.
7. If the fluid level is low, add hydraulic fluid slowly in small increments until it reaches the “ADD” mark. Do not overfill the hydraulic reservoir, as this can lead to problems with the hydraulic system.
Note: If the hydraulic fluid level is low, it is important to find and fix the leak as soon as possible.
