How do you change the rear spark plugs on a Chevy 3.1 liter engine?

To change the rear spark plugs on a Chevy 3.1 liter engine:

1. Locate the spark plugs on the rear cylinder head. They are the 3 plugs closest to the firewall.

2. Remove the spark plug wires. Squeeze the connector at the bottom and pull it up and off of the spark plug wire.

3. Remove the spark plugs. Loosen the spark plugs with a spark plug wrench, and then unscrew them by hand.

4. Inspect the spark plugs. The electrodes should be clean and not worn. The ceramic insulator should not be cracked or chipped.

5. Replace the spark plugs. Screw in the new spark plugs by hand until they are seated. Tighten the spark plugs with a spark plug wrench.

6. Reconnect the spark plug wires. Push the connector down onto the spark plug wire until it clicks.
