1. Open the driver's door.
2. Locate the bonnet release lever on the left side of the footwell.
3. Pull the bonnet release lever.
4. Go to the front of the car and lift the bonnet.
5. Prop the bonnet open with the bonnet stay rod that is located on the right side of the engine bay.
To close the bonnet, simply lower it until it latches closed.
