For models built before 2013
1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position.
2. Pull up on the small lever located next to the keyhole.
3. The fuel flap will release.
For models built after 2013 with keyless entry
1. Press the "Unlock" button on your key fob.
2. The fuel flap will release and the indicator arrow will be red.
4. Touch the red indicator arrow on the flap.
5. The flap will pop open and the indicator arrow will turn green, ready to refuel.
For models built after 2013 without keyless entry
1. Use the mechanical key to unlock the car door and open it.
2. Insert it in the fuel flap cap.
3. Turn it counterclockwise until it stops.
4. Open the fuel flap.
For Octavia models with a button inside the car
1. Press the button on the dashboard to open the fuel flap.
2. If there isn’t a button inside the car, push the indicator arrow on the flap.
