Step 2. Wait about 10 seconds. The message "Seatbelt fastened" will appear in the instrument cluster, and the seatbelt minder light will go out.
Step 3. Unfasten the seatbelt and wait 10 seconds. The seat belt reminder will not chime.
Step 4. Switch off the ignition.
Step 5. Repeat Steps 1-4 two more times.
Step 6. On the third cycle, do not fasten the seatbelt after 10 seconds. The "Fasten seatbelt" message will appear, but the seatbelt minder light will not turn on.
Step 7. This will permanently disable the seatbelt minder light.
