Where is the thermostat on a 1992 Audi 100?

The thermostat on a 1992 Audi 100 is located on the front of the engine, at the top of the engine block.

To remove the thermostat, follow these steps:

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

2. Remove the top radiator hose.

3. Remove the thermostat housing bolts and remove the thermostat housing from the engine block.

4. Remove the thermostat from the housing.

When reinstalling the thermostat, be sure to install a new gasket.

Also, be sure to fill the cooling system with the proper amount of coolant.
