- The fuel pump is found under the rear seat of the 944.

- Remove the holding clamp and take out the fuel filter.
4. Remove the Fuel Pump:
- Unbolt the fuel pump mounting bolts to loosen the fuel pump.

- Remove the old fuel pump from the tank.
5. Install the New Fuel Pump:
- Before installation, inspect the fuel pump bracket and O-rings for damage or wear.
- Insert the new fuel pump into the tank and connect the electrical connector.
- Secure the pump with its mounting bolts.
6. Replace the Fuel Filter and Fuel Lines:
- Install a new fuel filter and secure it with the holding clamp.
- Reattach the disconnected fuel lines to the new fuel pump.
7. Test the Fuel System:
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal and turn the key to the "ON" position.
- Check the fuel system for any leaks or unusual noises.
8. Start the Engine:
- Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to check if the fuel pump is functioning correctly.
