1. Check the battery in the key fob. Make sure the battery is properly seated and has enough power. If the battery is low, replace it with a new one.
2. Inspect the key fob for damage. Look for any cracks or damage to the key fob, especially around the buttons and the circuit board. If there is any damage, it may be preventing the key fob from functioning properly.
3. Resync the key fob to the vehicle. Some vehicles require the key fob to be resynced after the battery has been replaced or if the key fob has been damaged. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for instructions on how to resync the key fob.
4. Check the vehicle's ignition switch. If the key fob is not working, the problem could be with the vehicle's ignition switch. Try inserting the key into the ignition and turning it to the "On" position. If the engine does not start, the ignition switch may need to be replaced.
5. Have the vehicle's electrical system checked. If you have tried all of the above steps and the key fob is still not working, there may be a problem with the vehicle's electrical system. Have the vehicle checked by a qualified mechanic to identify and fix any electrical issues.
