2. Locate the oil filler cap. It's a black cap with a red or yellow handle located near the front of the engine.
3. Remove the oil filler cap and set it aside.
4. Look down at the oil filler hole. You will see a yellow or orange plastic dipstick.
5. Pull the dipstick out of the hole and check the oil level. It should be between the full (F) and add (A) marks on the dipstick.
6. Re-insert the dipstick into the oil filler hole and replace the oil filler cap.
