1. Open the bonnet (hood) of the Vivaro.
2. Locate the engine block, which is the large metal component at the front of the engine bay.
3. Look for a series of characters stamped into the metal of the engine block near the top front left side. These characters represent the engine number.
4. The engine number can also be found on a metal tag attached to the engine by a bolt. The tag is usually located near the top of the engine block on the front or side.
The engine number will typically consist of a combination of letters and numbers, e.g.: Z13DTJ
