Do you have to remove the timing belt change water pump on my 1993 sc400?

The 1993 SC400 is equipped with a timing chain, not a timing belt. Therefore, there is no need to remove the timing belt to change the water pump. However, you will need to remove the accessory drive belts to access the water pump.
