A "data port" on a Ford van (and most modern vehicles) isn't a physical port like a USB port or an ethernet port. Instead, it refers to the
OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostics II) connector. This is a standardized 16-pin diagnostic connector that allows technicians and specialized tools to access the vehicle's computer system and retrieve diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), as well as other vehicle data.
You'll usually find this OBD-II port under the dashboard, often near the steering column. It's usually a readily accessible location.
