1. The camshaft timing marks are located on the front of the cylinder head, just below the camshaft cover. There are two marks, one for the intake camshaft and one for the exhaust camshaft. The marks should be aligned with the corresponding marks on the camshaft gears.
2. The crankshaft timing mark is located on the flywheel, behind the starter motor. The mark is a small notch in the flywheel. The crankshaft timing mark should be aligned with the pointer on the engine block.
3. To set the timing, you will need to remove the camshaft cover and the timing belt cover. Once the covers are removed, you will be able to see the timing marks. Use a wrench to turn the crankshaft until the timing marks are aligned. Once the timing marks are aligned, you can reinstall the timing belt cover and the camshaft cover.
