The collection is housed in a purpose-built facility in the capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan, and is estimated to contain over 7,000 vehicles. The collection includes a wide variety of cars, from vintage Rolls-Royces to modern Ferraris and Lamborghinis. It also includes a number of rare and unusual vehicles, such as a 1934 Mercedes-Benz 540K Autobahn Kurier and a 1955 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham.
The Brunei Royal Family's car collection is not open to the public, but it has been featured in a number of documentaries and articles. In 2011, the collection was estimated to be worth over $5 billion.
